Electrode gap — 1981 Hall ignition

▲ Safety-critical — over-torque-intolerant. Do not exceed the figure.
Value
0.6 +0.1 mm
Applies · 1981 models
BMW-WSM7 This guide previously had these two the wrong way round — it printed 0.6 mm for points and 0.7–0.8 mm for electronic. The factory sheets say the opposite: the points bikes take 0.7 mm and the 1981 Hall bikes take 0.6 +0.1. Corrected.

This is the book's general row. In the book, pick your model and year and this figure resolves to your machine, with the one-page torque sheet, the job pages and the printable booklet.
